- In 1939, the mountain began operating their first chair lift. Today there are 14 Mont Tremblant ski lifts that can handle 27,230 skiers per hour. Skiing in Mont Tremblant couldn’t be more efficient with lifts like The Duncan Express that will take you to the top of the North Side in 9 minutes and an 8 passenger gondola servicing the South Side.

On the Versant Soleil of Mont Tremblant sits the 21,025 square foot Casino de Mont-Tremblant. Located in the Laurentian mountain range, Mont-Tremblant is a small village which is surrounded by lush forest and breathtaking views. Despite being a ski resort, in recent years, Mont-Tremblant has become a popular getaway for tourist and locals alike, whether in winter or in summer. It is approximately 130 kilometers north west of Montreal and 140 kilometers north east of Ottawa.
The Casino de Mont-Tremblant is served by Mont Tremblant International Airport, located at Rivière-Rouge and a shuttle service runs between the airport and the resort. The casino is connected to the pedestrian village of Tremblant by a new gondola. Free shuttle rides to the casino are also available from the Chalet des Voyageurs (next to the Cabriolet) with stops at different hotels within the village. If you are driving, take Highway 117, Exit 119 (Montee Ryan) – free parking is available at the casino.
There is no on-site hotel at the Casino de Mont-Tremblant but you will find that the shores of the region's lakes, rivers and streams are dotted with many hotels and inns including the Westin Resort and Spa, the Lodge de la Montagne and the cheaper Auberge Sauvignon – all within two and a half kilometers of the casino.
